#152 How Frameworks Drive Rapid Membership Growth

Last week I was in a mastermind session with my friend Tamara Grominsky and she was sharing how her membership has been growing rapidly this year. "You guys ... it's working!"

And this totally made me giddy because I knew exactly why she was having this explosive growth...

Tamara runs PMM Camp, a membership for product marketing leaders.

When she developed her framework, the 5 Modes of PMM Leaders, she redesigned her entire member journey around it.

She built her programming to take members through each stage. And she put it front and center in her marketing, including an assessment that became one of her best lead generation tools.

Her framework became the backbone of everything, and yours should be too.

A framework gives your members a clear map. Here's where you are, here's where you're going, here's what to do next.

It makes progress visible and trackable, which drives retention. And it creates a shared language that your members start to use themselves.

When members start repeating your language back to you, that's when word-of-mouth marketing starts to compound. And as we've previously established, word-of-mouth marketing is the best way to grow your membership.

Last year we launched our own framework, The 7-Figure Connected Community Model:

In our framework we help people build strong member journeys, structure, and the foundations that make them ready for rapid growth.

Tamara is an amazing case study of this – she did the work to redesign her member journeys, structure, programming, onboarding, etc. And once her foundations were in a great place, she was able to pour gas on the fire and see the growth she has been working towards.

People in my world have started saying things like "Becky helps you with the architecture of your community" because architect is a word that lives inside phase 1 of my framework that I've been using consistently.

My framework did that for me.

In a world where it's getting harder to stand out, your framework is your differentiator. AND it's your most compelling marketing message.

Because instead of saying "join our community and network with other founders," you can say "here's exactly how we're going to help you grow and here's what that transformation looks like."

That's a completely different conversation. I go deeper on this on the podcast this week (11 mins voice note!) check it out 👇
