I’ve always had a hard time fitting in a box. Which is bad news for writing my bio – but great news for your business.

You’ve probably heard people describe themselves as a “swiss army knife”. AKA – they have a ton of skills and are helpful in 99% of situations. 

I like to think of myself as a unicorn. (Think: “swiss army knife” with creativity + strategy baked in).

There are very few seats I haven’t sat in or next to in a business – so I know what it takes to actually execute a plan and get results. But more than knowing what it takes to implement a plan – my zone of genius is using data-driven research and industry-leading processes to create a strategic plan tailored to your business that we KNOW is going to drive results

    I think it’s a myth that a founders’ vision and an audience’s desires need to compete.

    I don’t think you need to choose between great products and profitable products. I’m an expert at creating both.

From Architect to UX Designer to Product Leader to Founder– I’ve worn many hats (and titles) in my 10 year career.

I attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY where I received a Bachelor of Architecture. While at Pratt I fell in love with design-thinking and education.

My passion for community building began when I co-founded the Pratt Student Departmental- Council.

2011

Presenting our architecture thesis [de]RAILED– a community built with repurposed subway cars.

I marched into the offices at TPG Architecture and pitched the team on why I should join their Strategy + Innovation team (& the rest is history!).

Here I began my design strategy career that led me to the tech industry.

2016

I moved to Silicon Valley and earned a UX Design Certificate to make things official.

I started working at Spire Digital, a boutique agency in Denver, Colorado.

That’s right: 1 year, 2 cross country moves.

2017

I became a SME in web accessibility and worked with STARZ to complete a 13 platform accessibility audit.

I worked on my first community products:

(1) BaseConnect, an app to connect US Military and their families when they move to a new base.

(2) Routinify, an app to connect aging adults with their care circle.

2018

Presenting on web accessibility at Denver Startup Week in 2019.

I led a portfolio of enterprise membership companies in building greenfield AdTech & MarTech software. The challenge was to balance customization with automation for non-marketers.

In about 18 months I 3x’d my portfolio to $MM.

2019

RE/MAX conference in Las Vegas launching our member AdTech platform.

Our hard work paid off and Spire Digital was acquired by global consulting firm, Kin + Carta.

I continued my work with early-stage health-tech products. I believe community-driven product strategy will revolutionize the wellness industry. More on that in my newsletter.

2020

As our firm grew I began to miss our early stage work so I developed a new 0-1 strategy service offering for our K+C clients.

I began teaching UX Design cohorts at General Assembly.

2021

I followed my curiosity in community building, Ed-Tech and my passion for supporting women and joined the team at bossbabe.

Bossbabe is a media-education company serving women entrepreneurs helping them start businesses and find more freedom in their lives.

2022

I founded bpd strategy to help more creators and founders build community-driven products like memberships + courses to drive their business growth forward.

I started the bpd beat newsletter to help creators and founders make community the heart of their business and product strategy.

My vision is to contribute to the build of 10,000 community-driven products.

The community-first businesses we serve with will better serve the unique and special cultures of this world.

2023

bossbabe team retreat in Austin, Texas.

I married the partner of my dreams in 2022.
